Statement of Tithing

As a Christian company, founded on the belief of honoring God in all aspects of personal, professional and business life, we firmly believe in the Biblical teaching and instruction of tithing.

While the New Testament does not designate a percentage to be set aside, it does say it is to be “in keeping with income” (1 Corinthians 16:2).  In searching the Old Testament, we find guidance in numerous passages (Leviticus 27:30; Numbers 18:26; Deuteronomy 14:24; 2 Chronicles 31:5) regarding giving a minimum of 10 percent of everything earned or received.  We also embrace the principle of first fruits (Exodus 23:16; 34:22; Leviticus 2:12-14; 2 Chronicles 31:5).

In keeping with the Biblical teachings, it is the firm policy of Redemption Row International to tithe each month.  These tithes will be a minimum of 10 percent of all gross receipts, donations, gifts, and contributions, no matter the source or purpose intended.  These tithes are distributed equally to Christian mission organizations to further the national and worldwide spread of the Word of God and to help those in need.

“Moreover it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful”
1 Corinthians 4:2

Statement of Use of Funds

It is the unwavering policy of Redemption Row International that all funds are to be used specifically to spread the Word of God behind prison walls.

All donations, gifts, and contributions made to Redemption Row International are used specifically for the operations of Redemption Row International and the production, publication; printing, and distribution of The Redemption Row Herald newspaper and all supporting materials to prisoners and inmates at jails, prisons, and detention centers, and to further spread the Word of God directly to these people.

While challenging and changing dysfunctional criminal justice systems and enacting new legislation are important and necessary activities, we do not financially support any political or legislative activities of any kind.  As a company, we feel there are better qualified organizations currently in place striving to meet those needs.
